Noah and Matt worked together to find a good pickling recipe and measure the ingredients. It involved lots of vinegar and dill. Our whole house smelled like pickles, much to the delight of the boys.
And, there they are! We put them in the refrigerator, waited 10 days, and they were ready! Noah and Isaac couldn't eat enough. They wanted to eat them all in one day for lunch, but I was pretty sure that would create a case of "pickle tummy." Instead, we spread them out over 3 days.
The boys are watching the cucumbers in the garden again, getting ready for their next harvest.
