Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

Learning is Fun!
I've been inspired by this blog to be more intentional about creating learning activities for Noah. We've had a lot of fun since I've started doing this, and Noah gets really interested when I take out a new learning activity or game. I try to snap a picture once in a while to document what we're doing. Some of the activities last only a few minutes the first time, but when I get it out again he tends to spend more time to try and master a skill. A few days ago, Noah learned how to use an eyedropper, and he's become much better at lacing beads.
In the above picture, Noah is doing a puzzle the way he likes to do it - he puts a piece in the wrong spot and shakes his head "no," then he puts it in the right spot and shakes his head "yes." Here's our learning activity pictures. Enjoy!

Easy Homemade Bread
We've been having fun with the book Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day: The Discovery That Revolutionizes Home Baking. We really did make this delicious loaf of bread with less than five minutes of work!

No Bibs Allowed!
Noah refuses to wear bibs anymore. He has no use for them in his life. If it's a warm day, I usually solve the problem by taking off his shirt - he's much easier to clean after a messy meal that way. The day I took this picture, it was a very cold day - too cold to take off his shirt! So I put this towel around him, and he didn't seem to mind as he tackled his bowl of applesauce. He has never tolerated a towel again, though.

STOP
We've always pointed out stop signs to Noah when we're walking around our neighborhood. Now, he knows all the letters for the word 'stop,' so when he sees a stop sign he says, "S, T, O, P" (not necessarily in that order). It is amazing to hear him spell an actual word!

Snow Day
We were so excited to wake up and see that there was snow on the ground! This is our first real snowfall of the year. Noah and I played outside this morning until we got too cold and wet. Noah liked listening to the snow crunch under his feet, and he thought it was very funny that there was ice on the ground. He kept saying "ice" and "ooohh" (snow). He especially liked watching Emma race around the yard and scratch the snow. The snow always bring out the puppy in Emma! Here's a few more pics.
