Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

The Salty Dog
The best way to start off a vacation at Hilton Head is a visit to the Salty Dog! Isaac was clearly happy to be there, and Noah topped off the evening with two of his favorite things - live guitar music and ice cream. Ahh...vacation! Here's a few more pictures.

Drummer Boy
Yes, the Electrasol cans are still around! Noah still plays these drums every day. He has his fancy electronic drum set, but he prefers to play "old school" most of the time - cans and chop sticks. He's a purist.
The clang of drums ring through the house throughout the day. Noah spends a lot of time figuring out different rhythms and trying to repeat rhythms in the songs he hears - mostly songs from church and from They Might Be Giants. It's interesting to listen to what he's doing, although I think I've also developed the ability to tune out the clanging in order to preserve my sanity. It's interesting that a lot of the time when Noah plays drums, Isaac likes to ring bells or bang his hand on something too.
