Webolo Adventure Camp

Noah and Matt are off to Webolo Adventure Camp for the next three nights!  Isaac and I took Noah to camp and helped him get situated in his tent with his roommate. It was tricky to get the mosquito netting hung around Noah's bed, but we did it!  Matt is joining the scouts tonight for dinner, and he will be sleeping in a tent next to Noah's. It looks like they will have lots of fun activities like swimming and canoeing. The temps are in the high 90s - 100 degrees, so they will also spend a lot of time cooling down after their activities.

Open for Business!

Noah is officially a business owner!  He is selling cold drinks and candy inside the club house at our neighborhood pool. He has a wide variety of drinks for sale. The best part is that his customers can pay using their smart phone, so it Noah does not need to actively work at his business. He has learned that passive income is a great type of income!  Today is his first day of business, and he is anxiously awaiting notification of his first payment.

Boys of Summer

Summer's Here!

Isaac and his Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Crawford and Mrs. Samuel

Noah and his 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Zeltner.

Our last day of homestudy.

We celebrated the start of summer with Wet Heads!

The boys had lots of fun at field day. Bring on summer!

Pole Night at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Yesterday, the boys met one of their top 5 favorite drivers, Austin Dillon. He drives the 3 car.

Tonight they're having fun watching all their favorite drivers qualify for the CocaCola 600.

Before and After

Noah got his braces off today!

Noah and his orthodontist Dr. Matt Lineberger in front of the University of Michigan football stadium mural.

Don't you love his smile?  He now has a removable upper retainer and he will get a permanent lower retainer next week. So, the appointments continue, but we are all excited that the braces are off!

Thunders Edge

Noah had his first drum performance yesterday!  He played with the band Thunders Edge.  The band's regular drummer was not available for the performance, so Noah has spent the last month practicing in order to fill in for this performance.  The band did such a great job, it was a fantastic first performance experience for Noah.

They performed:

The Air I Breathe by Matt Kearney

Ho Hey by The Lumineers

Good Fight by Unspoken

The band members range in age from 8-11.  Enjoy the show!
